"Ancient Tapestry"

I created this piece as an homage to the rich tapestries of the past. Challenge: Could I (staying true to my style, working with my collage techniques, and 21st century materials) actually capture the look and feel of these beloved woven textiles?

patterned fabrics, paint, glue, satin cording, faux ’sinew’ for thick stitches, .... and thirteen small round mirrors.
